Why Should You Choose Us?

Hay Stack Stables is  a  no pressure just  relax and have fun kind of place. We offer horse back riding lessons for all ages. We have different ways of teaching young and older children and smaller riding pens for those very young children whose parents are also alittle nervous about them riding. Horse back riding lessons offered for 1 hour, an hour and a half and for the day, you do not have to pay in advance for lessons and you can book whenever day, evening, weekday, weekend, weekly, monthly or just here and there lessons.

Riding Styles

Although the instructor was taught english she prefers to teach western riding, but she will teach the basics of english riding and refer the students to a well qualified english instructor nearby when they are ready to move forward.

All the riders I teach have the chance (when they have learn the basics of riding) to learn more types of riding. The two other types I teach are Gymkhaning, (which is timed events on horse back) or Showing, (which means your riding and the way you handle your horse are judged by a judge.) If the instructor feels you are good enough to either compete in a gymkhana or a show we do give you the chance to enter in one with one of our horses at your own cost and someone will be with you to give you last minute advice. Unfortunately we are not equipped to teach jumping but if that is what you want to learn email us and we can give you same recomendations.
