Hay Stack Stables
Hay Stack Stables has been around for 15 years, but just as a hobby farm. We have 14 horses as well as 2 beef cows, 6 cats, 6 kittens and a dog. On average we usually have 10 to 12 horses every year. We make our own hay. Which means we cut, and bale all of our own fields. On average we bring in 2500 small square bales of hay and 70 big round ones. All the square bales go in the hay loft in the barn and the round bales are lined up along the fence to make it easier to feed them to the horses. Hay Stack Stables is a beautiful and scenic place to learn how to ride, take a trail ride or just visit

Here is a picture of the barn. It holds 12 horses, three cows, a tack room and saddling area and a foaling stall. We usually have one foal born every spring and there should be one born June 2005. |

BARN BOSS
My name is Sarah Dow and I have been riding for 15 years now. I have been teaching kids year round for 4 years and at the same time working and going to school. Along with giving horse back riding lessons and trail rides I compete in gymkhanas, (which is timed events on horse back. ie. barrel racing) and horse shows. I really enjoy horses and love teaching kids and adults how to ride. If you have any questions for me please feel free to email, call or fax me
